Secret For Steeping Delicious Fruit Teas!

When we sample our herbal teas, people always remark on the strong juice-like taste!  Herbal teas are the easier teas to brew because they don't contain Camellia Sinensis or "Tea".  Without tea, these teas can be steeped for longer and at higher water temperatures!  Below is my secret recipe for our fruit tea samples.  Enjoy!

Jenny's Secret for Steeping Herbal Tea Samples

  1. Place 2 oz of tea in a large stock pot
  2. Add 2.5 quarts of water
  3. Turn on the stove to high and let tea roll boil
  4. Let tea "cook" for 10-15 minutes (this is the secret)
  5. Strain out tea with spaghetti strainer
  6. While still in the spaghetti strainer, press tea with the back of a spoon to get all the fruit juice out of the tea
  7. Add honey to taste

Jennifer, I’m a daily tea drinker and don’t know how I came across your tea canister, Autumn Sunset but I love it and am interested in obtaining some more and would like to know what other flavors are you mixing ?
